I have hired them several times. I have been very happy with them. They are very reasonably priced. I would hire them again for that type of work.
I called Bieg at 9am and described the problem to a very helpful woman, who was able to schedule a repair visit for a little later in the morning. The repairman arrived, listened carefully, and was able to do the repair in short order. He was also willing to answer relevant water heater questions for future reference. Nice that they offered emergency service, but the hourly rate was $136, so we decided to wait for someone else to come out the following day. If it has been a bigger issue, we may have considered hiring them despite the very high rate.
Overall it was a very good experience. This all occurred on a Saturday morning which made finding someone to perform the repair a challenge. I left messages with several shops and Bieg was the first one to respond in 10 minutes or less. The technician arrived within the hour and within another hour our hot water heater was working once again.
Wonderful people to work with - this is the second time I have had Bieg do plumbing work and they are responsive and go above and beyond - the service person who came to replace our water heater also replaced pipe to and from the water heater as it would not have been up to current codes to leave it as it was and just hook up a new water heater. That is not something I would have known to request.
Everything was as expected and as promised. Just what you want from a new contractor!
Did a lot of price comparison and Bieg offered the best price. No problems-nice work!
These guys are fabulous. I have used them several times. Their guys show up on time and are very, very nice and now exactly what to do! They are very well trained and have high levels of expertise. They will explain everything that needs to be done to you simply and completely. They clean up everything completely and have left the floor cleaner than it was in the beginning! They are the best!
They had to re-route the sanitary line from the kitchen to the sewer. I've used another plumbing company for most of our homeowner life in St. Louis, and I wasn't satisfied with the answers I was getting to the problem I was having. I got their information from Angie's List and I called him. He came out and he told me immediately that the smell was coming from kitchen waste rather than the sewer.
