When I give a 4 star for Big Boy, it's still a Big Boy. Needs some critical updates for starters. We walked up and down Mitchell Street stopping at what appeared like really great places to eat lunch. We were so hungry. I'm sure there are times when certain workers are working and the service can get slow. That wasn't today. There were 4 servers on the floor and they were very attentive. We didn't wait long for our drink order. We didn't wait long to place our order. I did the breakfast & salad bar while my daughter had a big boy classic. Which takes time to cook. The bar doesn't. I always get the best service from the waitstaff and fabulous food! My favorite time is for breakfast and my favorite waitress (Kristen). She is always smiling and making me and my family feel welcome. I would definitely recommend this Big Boy to anyone who wants to smile and chow down. Thank you Cadillac's Big Boy staff without you I wouldn't have a great breakfast that I didn't have to cook!

We went for breakfast several times this week and the service was very good and the food was too. The Big Boy has real potato pancakes made with fresh potatoes. They were really close to the ones we ate in German. We were offered many coffee refills.

My husband and I were on our way home from Ellsworth, MI on 6/19/2018 around 8 p.m.and stopped in Cadillac at the Big Boy restaurant. Our server was very pleasant and professional..my chicken quesadilla was absolutely EXCEPTIONAL and the strawberry pie was so awesome..please keep this fabulous restaurant in your community!

I love Big Boy. I eat here quite often as i live a block away. There are times when the service is really slow especially this one time when i was there for 3 hrs!! Between waiting for the waitress to take the order, bring our order and even the wait for our check it was so disappointing that night. The slow pace happens often, and it can be cleaner but i love going and its inexpensive and tasty. -1 star for the slow service and -1 for lack of cleanliness.

The Big Boy in Cadillac is really convenient for breakfast if you are staying at The Hampton Inn or The Holiday Inn - both of which are just up the road, less than a mile or so. I had an omelette with mushrooms, broccoli, bell pepper, onions, sausage, and cheese, plus a side of bacon and a cup of coffee. Service was friendly. It took a while for our food to come out, but they were pretty busy and they got slammed all at once I guess. The parking lot has very large deep holes, been forever. Prices have gone up also. Decent prices bring in more patrons.
