We were in on Saturday May 16, 2026 at 10:30am. The restaurant was NOT busy, after we were seated Stacey our wait staff came right over to take our drink order. She brought that then took our meal order, it was just 2 of us and so simple coffee with cream and I had Mt. Dew and we both ordered the breakfast bar!! Here's where it went down hill Stacey brought 2 coffee's no cream 10 minutes later finally got her back to our table to fix the mix up, to find the food on the bar was cold and dried out!!! My wife and best friends went there Friday for their fish buffet. Absolutely ridiculous!! Excuse me but where is the fish on the fish buffet?? No shrimp?? All I saw was perch. I'm from Texas. We call that bait.

The parking lot has very large deep holes, been forever. Prices have gone up also. Decent prices bring in more patrons.

The Big Boy from my home town closed and my friends and I decided to eat at this location while we were in the area.........for old time's sake. I wish we hadn't. I was all excited to get a Slim Jim, something I always got when I ate out with my grandma. I was surprised to find out that they now have 3 different kinds of Slims. I got the Italian with fries. The sandwich was supposed to come with red onion on it. It was beautiful in the picture. The sandwich I got was pretty sad as it only had two tiny pieces of onion. One on... read more

Improve... everything. This is the saddest place I've ever eaten in my life. This franchise used to be amazing and now it hosts overworked grouchy and rude waitresses (which there should be more of per shift!) cracked seats that are awful to sit on, barely cooked food and cooks abruptly screaming out orders from the kitchen (which is bad for the geriatric clientele and their hearts) This is consistent with this location and we have finally come to the conclusion it ain't gettin' any better. Should now be called "Big Mistake"

First of all I grew up on going out on the weekend with family and enjoying Big Boy! I am disgusted by 2 locations in Michigan that we tried Traverse City and Pontiac 1. Both locations are filthy! 2. The smell of the old rancid grease is nauseating 3. The fries are soaked in the old stinky grease 4. The big boy burger was awful PLEASE take a week to clean and change out your grease A very disappointed customer!

just had dinner there and it was terrible, the food, the service, the benches were ripped and very uncomfortable. the toilet seat in the womans bathroom was broken and the mirror in the mens room was broken. It used to be a decent restaurant but not any more. we will never go back.
