You just never know. Walk into Big Boy and think it'll be old hat and much to my surprise it was fantastic! Everyone being so polite and the restaurant was incredibly clean. It's in a great location close to the highway and they've extended their hours. The menu has a decent selection and the food is great for a great price. The service is fast, the staff is very friendly and while it's nothing extravagant, you are guaranteed to be in and out come lunchtime having had a filling meal. 10/20

My first time ever going to a Big Boy and the food was absolutely amazing and the dessert topped it off great! Our service was amazing and our waitress Michelle was very talkative and made our experience even better. If you're considering going here, do it.

Big boys been a favorite of mine forever and I dearly miss it (moved out of state). Decided to do something nice for my parents and order them dinner since they are elderly and on shelter in place in Michigan. Big boy was quick efficient and never disappoints!! Thank you!

We wanted soup and came here for the soup and salad bar. The toppings on the salad bar were all fresh looking and the toppings I had tasted good. The mixed fruit on the salad bar was good as well. Soups were excellent - they had 6 to choose from. My favorite was the chicken tortilla soup. It was lacking a lot of chicken, but had some good flavor with a little spice. I eat here very often my only issue is carry out. I order the same thing every time: strawberry belgian waffle blockbuster and instead of meat i sub for more eggs. Sometimes they throw in extra stuff for me and make it really nice and enjoyable and other times they tell me they aren't allowed to sub meat for more eggs? You either change rules daily or your employees are liars. I love this place otherwise.

This is an old family classic and a longstanding tradition that I'm always happy to rekindle. Big boy has a variety of diner choices and it also has a few choices to keep up with the times, which is nice if your dining with a multitude of generational tastes. My old standby is the patty melt with a salad and raspberry vinaigrette. I admit it's not the most healthy of choices but it's fine for the once monthly visit in Rochester Hills. Been years since I've been to a Big Boy. Went here the other day and must say I was fairly impressed. I mean come on, it's Big Boy, you pretty much know what your walking into no big mystery. That said this place was fresh looking and clean. Service was good, and the old stand by the classic Big Boy burger was just how I remembered. Menu has changed some, but still all the classics. No complaints.

Nice remodel, feels more up to date and less like visiting a restaurant from the 60's. Lots of accessible seats since before they only had 2 tables and the rest were booths. Good food and wait staff. Even before the remodel I really liked their wait staff so that hasn't changed. I enjoy the salad bar and if you are really hungry you can add it to any sandwich or entree for only about 3 bucks!
