Terrible. Waited 5 minutes to even be greeted at the door, not even busy. Asked for spaghetti with sauce on the side for my daughter, cane on top. Salad and soup bar was disgusting. Lettuce was empty and wilted. Tomatoes looked days old. My sandwich was terrible. Soup was super thick and gross. Will not be back. Edited to add- I have been in the bathroom ever since we left. Possible food poisoning.
Look at the picture ................ Look again .............. What do you NOT see? It was served without the strawberries. We had to ask for strawberries for the Strawberry and Cream French toast. My Husband had an omelet. It was missing the onions. His toast was burned and cold.
Ate there on Friday April 12th..7:00pm...Generally in the past have been pleased with service and quality. Have not been there in a while. The seafood bar did not look very appetizing. Got the fish and chips. For $9.59, two small pieces of battered fish, some fries and a small salad...I think they are relying on nostalgia to bring people back. Absolutely disgusting. Order a big boy and it tasted like burnt grill I couldn't even finish it. The thousand island tasted off, hopefully it was just a brand I don't prefer. Decided to try the salad bar and everything but the lettuce was old. The pasta salads tasted like they sat in the sun for hours. The chicken and rice soup was mostly salt. Our waitress brought me the wrong drink and then never came back to refill it. Terrible experience, I will never come back.
We usually love big boy. This is the first time we've been to this location. They took forever to seat us, and the resturant was empty except for one other table. Then once we sat down it took 6 mins for her to come over and take our drink order. She dropped our lemonades off and immediately left. Didn't even ask if we were ready to order. Which we were. Horrible location, staff were rude young girls. Took their time with everything. There were maybe 5 other tables with people and somehow the girls seemed like they had a dinner rush... Finally after taking our order my kids did their word search, more people came in. 3 tables that came in WELL after us somehow received their food before us. Ok this review is not for one but 2 occasions I was there in the last month and a half. I recently started a new job that takes my by this location. I have always been a fan of Big Boys and sadly most of them around me have closed. So I figured this would be a chance for me to start dining at Big Boys again. I am only rating this as a 5 star rating just so that way everyone sees it. I am highly disappointed on the service I received. I called in a takeout order and the lady that took my order, Lisa was her name, was really rude and even hung up on me when I asked for the total. When I went to pick up my order, Lisa cashed me out but over charged me and proceeded to be rude. The manager had to correct my payment and she said she will address the issue. She came off kind of rude herself. I will not be ordering from there again!
While the service was great the food wasn't. This was not my first time here. I decided that I would have the salad bar and after a second bite bit into something that cracked my tooth to the point it had to be pulled. I told the waitress who said she was "sorry" though did not offer anything more. The food is average, the hash browns are awful. Greasy.
