Decided to give another try after a less than satisfactory experience due to this restaurant being a childhood favorite. this time I spent $15 on empty soup containers. No soup, just tortillas. no option to bypass soggy French fries for take out. Incapable of very simple orders. Will not be returning service to this location.

We took a group of six adults for my moms 89th birthday. Our sever was basically trying to be funny but came across as a smart ass instead. When our food wasn't out after a decent wait and we asked him politely if it was coming soon his response was "I'm not the cook so I don't know. Some of it is sitting up there now". So this is not the usual Big Boy that I frequent but it's the closest one to my house. Let me just start by saying we got a carryout tonight for the special bundle deal that's going on. 15 mins after I got it home I was reheating leftover Hamburger Helper from the night before. It was the worst Big Boy I've ever had in my life! We got 3 slim Jim's and 1 Big Boy, with what was supposed to be 4 fries but it only came with 3. 3 of us stopped in at 6pm last night for dinner. The restaurant was about half full. We were promptly seated and our drink orders were taken. We ordered our food and then helped ourself to the soup and salad bar while we waited for our entrees. It was about 30 minutes later that the waitress came back to the table and told us that they were out of the clam strips that my son ordered. Is this location purposely trying to go out of business? Took a relative for breakfast on a Sunday- late morning. Seated immediately. Waitress didn't appear for 10 minutes- was either hung over - hated her job or I'm not sure what. Drinks took a long time to show up. Asked for silverware and napkins twice - finally took them from another table. Ordered soup and salad bar - they also were serving breakfast bar - was obvious they can't handle both. Ordered a hot fudge brownie Sunday. Brownie was gross and stale. They said it came with wipe cream and cherries and they put two cherries in a cup and no wipe cream and the fudge came in a separate container. What a joke. This big boy is terrible

Had a Sunday brunch here with the family yesterday. Not the best experience, but not the worst either. Most of us, including myself, got the breakfast buffet. The first thing I noticed is that they had absolutely nothing labeled on the buffet table so there were some items that I wasn't even sure what they were. Not a cool start when you have two very picky 11 year olds with you and you have to try to get them to eat their fair share of $13 it cost for each person for the buffet. Don't come here the food is disgusting! Grilled chicken sandwich taste like frozen microwaved chicken--rubbery. Kids corn dogs are inedible definitely microwaved. The salad bar lettuce was old brown bagged lettuce. Now I know why the parking lot was empty at 6 pm.

Terrible. Waited 5 minutes to even be greeted at the door, not even busy. Asked for spaghetti with sauce on the side for my daughter, cane on top. Salad and soup bar was disgusting. Lettuce was empty and wilted. Tomatoes looked days old. My sandwich was terrible. Soup was super thick and gross. Will not be back. Edited to add- I have been in the bathroom ever since we left. Possible food poisoning.
