Obviously, don't set your expectations too high. it is big boy and no, it hasn't changed in 30 years but but of all the big boys at least this one has a nice setting on the Cheboygan river
When in town for the week we lunched here our first day. Service was attentive and friendly. The food was good. Nice place to grab a meal, thanks Big Boy.
Great breakfast buffet and the best club sandwich I've had in a long time! Love the old fashioned stove sitting on the wall as you are seated!
We love this Big Boy! Never ever close! It's a classic Big Boy...great booths and atmosphere are super nostalgic. Love the hot bar and salad bar! The staff is great. We love the food here...it's exactly what you want from an old school diner!
they update the menu here a little bit each time I've ate here but I bought a 4 patty cheeseburger on one bun with thousand island dressing for sauce

Went on a Saturday night. They were doing their absolute best to comply with COVID rules. They had a skeleton crew and it took a long time to get our food. That's because there were at their capacity. The manager was everywhere helping out. The waitresses were moving NON-STOP. They were swamped with to go orders. The staff was doing their absolute best and then some. The food was pretty good.
First time visiting this restaurant, and it tasted amazing. We dined in for breakfast, and the waitress was really nice. Food was really good, and the prices were ideal also.
It is ok, the food was fine, but it is terrible that they will not substitute the fries, other ones do, we were told they cant do that, My husband liked the breakfast bar and coffee. I am not a fry person but it comes with the slim jim and they would not let me switch it out for anything even cheaper items.
