Wow!!!! The manager (Christal) at big boy in Cheboygan verbally attacked my 89 yr old mother over her complaint that it took so long to get served. She was nasty.
Inside of the place smells really bad. food were disgusting just straight up disgusting. I highly don't recommend.
i ordered mac and cheese. awful. thick and didn't taste right. garlic bread was good. waitress forgot my side. which was annoying bcz i would have eaten that instead. couldn't even finish it the dish was so bad
OMG! I've had decent food at this Big Boy but the corned beef hash I just had was totally inedible. Proceed with caution. (Do they ever taste their own food?)
I haven't been to a Big Boy since I was in middle school and I don't think I'll be back. It was really dingy looking inside and the salad bar kind of looked diseased. I usually opt for salad bars at any restaurant I go to, but not this one. Nope. Couldn't pay me to eat that. The menu itself looked pretty appetizing, but all I wanted were some potato pancakes and eggs. I felt like I had the easiest order out of the group. Well, I am writing this review as I sit here waiting for my food. My family and I were seated over an hour ago and...oh wait. My food is here now. Shortly after I took my first trip to the soup and salad bar a man turned off the lights over it. I took one more trip up there and then our waitress told us the the soup and salad bar was closing down. This was at 8:00 and the restaurant closes at 9:00.
Server - Tanya - was friendly and quick. Food was good, but "greeter" Heather was awful. Watched me try to open/ get in doors while on crutches and did NOT offer to help - didn't even make a token gesture to hold the door for me! I watched as she would walk away from customers and drop menus on the table and they didn't know whether they should follow her or wait because she would talk to them as she walked away so they couldn't hear her.
