I absolutely love their codfish sandwich and onion rings. The salad bar was fresh and delicious. The coffee is so delicious. Very nice waitress, she's a sweetheart. All of the staff are friendly. Now I think I will go give the Big Boy by the road a slap on the butt and tickle his belly. He has the same pose and will never move. Maybe make him do a handstand. Yes 5 stars why well because we only have 2 Big Boys bear me in California plus this one was clean staff was friendly and the food was excellent.
Big boy has a river front dining area. The place is the bomb....cheap, decent food including a salad bar for under $10 and includes soup. Try the WI cheese soup.
First time to a big boys, and I ordered the best burger with fries and water. The fries were good, and plentiful. Burger was good but not cooked all the way through. Staff was friendly and nice. Went back a few days latter for breakfast, and everything was good but not the best.
I've never felt the need to review a Big Boy before, but I stopped in here for lunch with my uncle several days ago, and my tuna melt was out of this world. This sounds odd for a tuna melt, doesn't it? Literally, it was the best I've ever had. This place is also nicely decorated with a nautical theme and settled right along the river for a pretty view.
Decent late evening meal while staying in the area for a few days. From being greeted immediately to having a friendly waitress we would definitely recommended. The young lady that was our cashier while checking out had a great sense of humor. Our experience was good.
This was our first experience at a Big Boy and we've always wanted to visit one. Delicious cheeseburgers and malts! Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Clean restaurant near a small lake.
My first Big Boy experience, enjoyed when I was in Cheboygan for a wedding a couple of summers ago. Apparently these restaurants are all over Michigan, kind of like Friendly's in New England or Waffle House down south. I went with a large group on the weekend, when they were offering the all-you-can-eat buffet. As I recall, everything I plopped into my plate was passable if not quality diner-style breakfast food. But the most fun was taking photos outside with the Big Boy statue in the parking lot.
Decided to go back and try again after being closed for 9 days. The reopening featured the Breakfast Bar on both Saturday and Sunday this holiday weekend. Arrived Sunday same dirt, chaos and slow chefs. NO Breakfast Bar! Waitress stated they won't get a food truck until Tuesday! Once again poor management. Closed for 9 days and manager failed to order or prepare. We ordered eggs, meat and hash browns; simple order, right?
