OK, I'm updating my review again. The installer from Big Bully Turf, who originally installed the turf, came out yesterday to check out what was going on with our turf. To say the least, he was shocked. Today, they came out and pulled all of the turf up. Pulled all of the weeds that were growing under the newly installed turf. The sprayed the ground with a special herbicde that was specially formulated for what he called "Coconut grass". Evidently, it is an invasive grass called "nutsedge". Update August 2025: I had been trying to get a patch repaired. Ultimately Alex M. stepped up and offered to help. Alex was able to patch the spot that had somehow melted. Still not sure what caused it but in the end the company came through. It's been mentioned in other reviews, communication is hit or miss. I believe the company to still be the best choice but you really have to push to get tot he right person sometimes. My back yard was covered in bark to minimized maintenance, yet required quite a bit to keep neat. Also, my dog decided to start eating the bark as a snack! Bully Turf wad great! On time for the estimate and installation. Estimate was comparable to others, but a Discount offered after estimate made the decision easy. Work crew was polite and friendly. Every step was discussed and options were given to my liking. Clean up after left my yard ready to use!! (photos of entire process on my facebook page!)

Updated review: To Big Bully's credit they came back and addressed all my concerns. See updated pictures. Although the process has been rough and the communication has been a challenge, the company stood by their word and completed my project to my satisfaction. David had the crew come back and he took pride in fixing all the errors and made sure I was happy in the end. The end results deserve 5 stars but due to the entire process I rated them 3 stars.

In all relationships, personal or business, communication is the key to success. That being said, this review would be entirely different had the communication been better between all parties involved from the beginning. I don't think there's anything seriously wrong with the company, just that the communication could be improved. What's discussed and promised by the salesperson when the contract is signed, does not seem to be conveyed accurately to the contracted workers doing the job. We are very pleased with Big Bully Turf. They brought my vision to life. Our backyard was all dirt and a mess. The old owners had a huge garden. When we bought the home I saw what it could be and BBT brought it to life! This is life changing for our family and we are very pleased.

I had Big Bully Turf come out to replace 11 year old turf that I had. Lauren, the sales rep, was knowledgeable and provided me with all the info I needed. Looking at their turf vs. the turf i see elsewhere made it a no brainer. The removal and replacement took 3 days, which was amazing for over 2000 sq ft. I would highly recommend Big Bully Turf. I got three different quotes before choosing and found BBT to be of the best quality. From start to finish I was kept informed, updated and checked in on. The company is great. Dont trust the haters and poor reviews. Remember ANYONE, not real customers can post. Lauren was wonderful with setting up the appointment, design, turf selection and even helped me design specific areas I wanted to do. Knowing that I will be adding an ADU in the future, we designated the area where I wanted turf and pavers inlays. Brittany the project manager was also great.
