Service was good despite the fact they only had 2 waitresses. Food was just okay. My son had ribs that seemed really tough, other son ordered a patty melt medium rare that came out well well done. The rest of us had chicken fried steak, wasn't the best but not the worst I've had.

The food and service has gone downhill since it opened. I walked in today, Saturday, July 8, 2023, the place is filthy and no one came to wait on me after the hostess sat me at my table - I won't be back. I'm sure it'll be closed before long. No stars in my opinion.

Make sure to order your coffee with cream, not a dirty cream bowl in it. She thought it was brilliant. Not me. Seriously where has that bowl been sitting?

I went to a Black Bear Diner in Phoenix...food was so bad said I'd never go back....we'll, I needed to find a breakfast spot near the airport cause Rick Husband Airport food choices are bare minimum...Saw Black Bear, knew I hadn't been to one in years so figured I'd give it a try. Host was nice, brought coffee and water right away...Waiter was really nice...all downhill from there. It took over 15 minutes to get my breakfast. Then let's discuss the food. I ordered the hash and eggs with grits. The hash had the flavor and co... read more

They were short staffed. No one greeted you when you came in!! i had classic eggs Benedict, the egg & hollandaise sauce was over cooked. I asked for extra crispy hashbrowns and they were burnt. The cook also added a ton of parsley to cover up the burnt hollandaise sauce. Very disappointed in this location because I've always had good service and food at the multiple other locations I've been to.
