Service here is amazing Aly & Mia were amazingly attentive and kind, some of the friendliest service we've ever received. I wish I had gotten the host's name as well because he was just as great, the second he seated us he figured it was our first time there and took the time to explain the menu to us, and was very pleasant as well. Mia constantly made sure all of her tables were doing good even with her multitasking she still kept everyone taken care of with a smile, and is very patient even if you have no idea what you're ... read more

It took more than 5 minutes for anyone to show up to seat us even though they weren't busy. My sandwich had a very over ripe alvacado along with burnt bread. My husband's biscuits and gravy plate had dry, crumbly buscuits and chewy bacon. Don't go!

The store wasn't clean, food all over the floor. Under the tables as well. We were seated to a table that was dirty still with food particles on it. I said something & the sweet old lady said it was from the paper towel she used to clean them. My orange juice was water yellow water with bubbles in it. My hash browns were raw and awful. I would not recommend this store to have a decent meal. Even the salt shaker was wet and clogged up. I had to open it to get salt out of it. This was one awful breakfast.

We arrived at 7 am and by 7:50 our waitress had 8 tables and was checking people out. When my food arrived, a simple 2 egg plate, the food was cold and the fruit was over ripened. Plus the coffee tasted like it was water with flavoring. A huge thank you to the waitstaff and kitchen for trying when they were obviously set up poorly.

OMG. This was unbelievably horrific. I'm on a road trip from NYC to LA, and I saw a roadside sign for the Black Bear Diner. I ate at a Black Bear Diner near a mountain pass in Northern California a few years back, and it was excellent, so I thought I'd try this one. It wasn't good. The service, food, attitude were all horrible. I guess my first clue should have been that it was attached to a truck stop, but I've had great food in truck stops before, so whatever.

Not sure what everyone else is eating here but it was pretty terrible overall. There is one good waitress running around helping everyone except me. I've got the one waitress that apparently doesn't work for tips. Chicken fried steak is some prepackaged garbage. The "over medium" eggs are almost over easy...almost. If you like runny raw whites then you should definitely come here. Everything is just bland and blah. The Hashbrowns could be great if they weren't oily and flavorless. The biscuits are good. I'll give ... read more

Rating a one because zeroes aren't allowed. Chose a Bkack Bear because we've eaten at others and they were good, but this one was TERRIBLE. Ate there on a slow Friday night - place only had a few customers, should have been a clue. Could only see one employee, working the till, bussing tables, and trying to seat new arrivals. Finally another waitress showed to take our orders. Simple order & pot roast dinner, and the Fri. Night fish fry. Took fifteen minutes for the waitress to come back & tell us they were out of pot roast.... read more

I walked in the main door, and stood at the host stand for a while. There was no hostess at the host stand. The bartender wasn't looking in the direction of the main entrance, and she was talking with one of her patrons. Another customer comes in from the secondary entrance and gets behind me in line. The hostess (after 6 minutes) finally shows up, but helps a guy by the secondary entrance that has a sign saying to go to the host stand. She seats that guy, effectively blowing off the two of us at the host stand. She finally ... read more

The ambiance was very cute. The service and server was good. Now for the food. The food was good but why charge more for sausage patties over what would be charged for sausage links and why are you charging for coffee? It should come with breakfast or any meal free. Guess it goes back to greed.
