My boyfriend and I started going to Black Bear Diner this year and we love it! Our favorite waitress is Diana :) she is always so welcoming and now knows what we order, which shows she takes pride in her work and loves what she does. How great! The food is always amazing - sweet cream pancakes are TO DIE FOR! I love that they have heavy whipping cream for my coffee (lots of places don't carry it) and Diana is ALWAYS on it topping my coffee off ;) she's the best. TRY THE SANTA MARIA TRI TIP!! It is so tasty. The place is ... read more
I recently move to Aurora, black bear diner is amazing place! Food is Amazing and affordable, lupita is great
We came here for brunch and had one of the most positive restaurant experiences we've ever had. Our server was Lupita and she was exceptional, very kind and our food was delivered exactly as we wanted it. We'll definitely be back in the future!
My first time at a Black Bear Diner! My partner took me here after I had a medical procedure and I was starving. I ordered a plate with scrambled eggs, waffles, and sausage links. The waffle was fluffy and delicious. It was quite a large amount of food for me but my partner helped me finish it. He also enjoyed his breakfast very much. We don't typically go to chains but I'd definitely go here over IHOP or Denny's. I liked the cute forest/bear theme haha. Only suggestion is that the waiter could have been a bit more attentive... read more
Black Bear is one of my family's go-to casual meal spots. Breakfast is our favorite and the menu is huge. It is exactly what you would expect when you're in the mood for quick, cheap, and filling diner food. They get pretty busy on the weekends for breakfast but that is to be expected. The decor is very cute and always reminds me of going to Black Bear with my Grandmother back home. Come with an appetite!

This place is absolutely amazing and the best breakfast I ever had! The creamy pancakes just dissolved in your mouth and super soft and fluffy! The environment was very clean and felt so amazing to be in there and our waiter was quick and awesome
I ordered the California Bacon Benedict for my dinner at this location. This dish included sliced avocado as well, and it was quite good. I ordered it with red skinned potatoes. It came with a fruit medley as always. I got a Minestrone soup that was decent. My favorite was having huckleberry ice cream. Huckleberry tastes similar to blueberry but it's sweeter and is more savory. This ice cream flavor is something I normally can only get in Montana or the Pacific Northwest. It's great that it's served at this Black Bear Diner.... read more
So I finally got to try Black Bear Diner. Final analysis: It was okay. I am full but not satisfied. We ordered online and my order arrived in 29 minutes just as promised. I usually get to try multiple items since my kid is young snd not a big eater. The pancakes were super delicious, very soft even my infant son had a few pieces. So i tried a few bites of the country potatoes (amazing) and the country fried steak. The country fried steak needed some flavor, it was a little plain. Huge portion though. I ordered a denver omel... read more

It has been a loooong time since I have given a 5*! This was our first time dining at a Black Bear establishment and it will not be our last. Firstly, I don't know our servers name (something I plan to work on in future reviews) but she was wonderful...nothing over the top but she did a great job. Mom ordered the tri tip dip with fries. Hubby ordered a burger with avocado and pepper jack and all the usual fixins' with a side of sweet potato fries. I tried one of the new grilled cheese sammiches with pot roast and horserad... read more
