I've passed Black Bear and hadn't stopped. No specific reason, it just didn't seem like my place and it was not close to home. With some company in town, they chose this location as a breakfast brunch spot. The food was very good! The whole table was satisfied with their choices. We enjoyed our visit there. The food was delicious and our server, Lupita was the best. She was there to make sure we had all we needed. was the fist visit for some of our family and they want to return to try more specialties.

Ate here twice on a recent trip to Aurora. Only had breakfast, which was good. Don't have much to say about the food, basic diner food. Better than Perkins or Denny's, but nothing fancy. Spacious and comfortable seating and great staff. I came at two different times, once first thing when they opened (and there were not many people) and again in the afternoon (when it was busy). Staff were friendly and service was fast both times.

My family came in today and it was amazing we were a big group to and our sever Anasia was am she severed us quickly and she was ver nice and answered all of are questions I will be coming back just for her she did a wonderful job she had other table and she would check on us a lot to make sure that we were good and need anything I have not seen any other restaurant do that

I went for the first time with my mother in law and was seated pretty fast but the hostess sat us at a table right next to the restroom and didn't even ask if it was okay, we waited for our waitress to come to see if we could move but no one came so we got up and sat at the bar. Other than that the service was great, we were helped by many nice employees when our waitress was busy. Met the Manager and he did great with our simple requests. The food was delicious! Food was delicious! We all had breakfast that day and were served with generous amount of food! I was full all day! The reason I gave 3 stars is because of the service. Our server seem to be annoyed having to work and didn't check on us once. We received our food and didn't see her again until she gave us our ticket. I looked around for her when I needed a refill, she greeted others the same way. No smile not friendly.

My boyfriend and I started going to Black Bear Diner this year and we love it! Our favorite waitress is Diana :) she is always so welcoming and now knows what we order, which shows she takes pride in her work and loves what she does. How great! The food is always amazing - sweet cream pancakes are TO DIE FOR! I love that they have heavy whipping cream for my coffee (lots of places don't carry it) and Diana is ALWAYS on it topping my coffee off ;) she's the best. TRY THE SANTA MARIA TRI TIP!!
