It's been a while but I've always had good luck with this restaurant and the service has been excellent as well
The buttermilk pancakes are to die for, by far the best I've had in a while. Every time I go it seems packed but I still get my food and service in a timely manner. The restaurant is decorated wall to wall with bear decor. My main complaint is that when the food arrived it was a bit cold.
Great place to eat. I went with a large group of 14 people. They took care of us quickly. Diana, our server was terrific. The food was very good. Would recommend this place to anyone.
Good morning!! Looking for a great breakfast spot with amazingly friendly people? Black Bear is your place! I never ran out of coffee! I ordered the Shasta Scramble and it was beyond amazing! The portion was so grand that I can get one, if not two, more meals out of it!! My guy got ham, eggs, red potatoes and toast! He said the gravy was a little bland, but nothing a blast of pepper couldn't fix! All the bear decor was so cute!! Highly recommend!
Food was okay. Ordered a tuna melt. It was on rye with American cheese... normally they have Swiss. Tasted fine though, but wish you could choose bread type. Fries were undercooked and limpy. Bummer. The staff here were nice and friendly and attentive. When leaving the restaurant they had security or police presence just standing inside the door..?! Didn't give off the best vibes.
