We came here after having great food and service at the Fullerton location. This was a disappointment. The food wasn’t as good nor was the cleanliness of the restaurant. The bathrooms were dirty. Toilets and toilet paper receptacle were gross. The whole restaurant needs a deep clean.
Meals were very slow to come out. Over half an hour and there was on two other patrons so I'd hate to see them busy. Lots of staff so odd as to why. My husbands food was cold. I love black bear but this store wasn't up to standard in food delivery
No beans in the chicken taco salad, the shell was soggy & ,stale tasting. Slow service. I will not waste another $25.00 there again.
Normally we have never had a bad service until this Sunday. The waitress did take our order but didn't bring a our orders another waitress did forgot to bring me a straw n the ranch for my Granddaughter's French fries. My Husband did complain n the cashier said "We are really busy." No that's no excuse. The times before we never ever got se... read more

Our first Visit was this past Sunday. Our waitress was rude. Past by the table plenty of times didn't offer refills for coffee. I had to ask for my pancakes and she had a bad attitude from the get go. So sad too because the food was great but I won't go back! Then when check time came she was like another person. Yeah that didn't work. Earning your tip starts at Hello my name is... she didn't even do that
Ordered chicken fried steak breakfast and it tasted like flour. made me sick. Was put in the corner anf ignored. Usually Black Bear Dinner is really good. Not this tine2.

We stumbled upon this restaurant during an appointment we had this weekend. We were looking around the area for a good breakfast joint. Unfamiliar with this area, and never having heard of the BBD, we drove by and decided to give it a try. We liked the outside decor, got a feeling of the wilderness with all the wooden decor and giant Bear standing right out front. We were seated in about 15 minutes. The waitress was very friendly and smiled every time she came to check on us. We ordered a bear claw to start off with coffee. ... read more
