In 1995 founders Bruce Dean and Bob & Laurie Manley opened the first Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta, CA. Loved everything. Sweet cream pancakes were our of this world! You all need to come east please!
I'm not a CO local, but this will be a place I come back to again and again when I make my annual trip to Colorado Springs. The staff were all wonderful people, providing exceptional service and serving great food. You'll come hungry, leave happy, and if you're like me, you'll be back. I highly recommend taking that exit when you see "Black Bear Diner."

Being from OH, We'd never of this place. But it was excellent in EVERY way. Friendly staff, neat atmosphere, family friendly, excellent food, generous portions, reasonable price, and excellent desserts. Did I leave anything out? If so, it's excellent too!
