Interesting experience. All good things, food was delicious. Our server Xiotil was very friendly and kept the drinks coming.
Had lunch there this week. Greeted and seated quickly and warmly. Our server was top notch...answered questions and made appropriate suggestions. I ordered the open face turkey sandwich. I could have shared it with 2 people...It was huge! That being said, I did not share...It was delicious. Came with the best mashed potatoes and gravy I have ever had. My friends had equally delicious and huge meals. Perhaps a little pricey for diner food . But I am definitely going back. Casual, comfortable and family friendly.
Food and service was absolutely wonderful! Our server Xochi was not only polite but very kind when I requested a different plate because of my pregnancy.. will definitely be returning!
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING EXPERIENCE at this restaurant i love coming here!!!! the food is BOMB.COM and the hostess Brooklyn is GREAT at her job wonderful customer service:) makes the atmosphere TEN times better, thank you black bear will be back again!
I love the pancakes there and the fresh orange juice. The place was very nice and clean and the service was great. It was a bit busy that day that we went in but overall was a great experience.
LOVE this diner! My husband and I decided to give this restaurant a try last week for breakfast and we couldn't have been happier! The staff were all friendly and attentive. Our waitress, Xochilt, was awesome! The food was delicious, hot, and abundant! We enjoyed our experience at the Black Bear Diner so much that we went back this week to try out the lunch menu! I just recently moved to Southern California and wanted to try something new. So I came here to this particular location. I was greeted by an outstanding employee who goes by the name "Jayleen". She instantly greeted me, asked how I was doing, and proceeded to guide me to my booth. She asked if I wanted anything to drink while I decided on what to order. The restaurant was nice and clean. I had the chicken fried steak and eggs. The portion was enough for two meals. The biscuits were fluffy and the gravy was flavorful. I was very happy with my experience there. I would recommend this place to everyone.
A whole 5 stars goes to this restaurant! We got served by the Manager on Easter, blue shirt- I could not catch her name. But she was amazing. From the attentiveness and making sure we were doing okay and that the food was good, to the cleanliness across the board in terms of their prep area being wiped down and hands being washed after all messes, it's clear to see this Manager runs a TIGHT ship.
