The environment of tasty foods is the best. We went back again and it is the best taste.
The times I've been here the food it's always good I need to start coming every Sunday
Fun and fast service. Pies were delicious, I took two to go. Our party size was 12 people, we had 3 kids, and they were very accommodating. The food came out all together and everything was hot. The staff was amazing!!
Overall good! Lots of options and good service..staff was overall good. Took care of our refills and needs that we had throughout our visit. Lots of food choices and portions are pretty big! The atmosphere was cozy feeling. Would go again!
This Black Bear is BIG; BUSY; & BOISTEROUS!!! There is usually a wait for a table, and the wait times that they advise are usually accurate. This seems to be where all the big families/groups go for celebrations & after church meals. The wait staff is awesome and can usually work with any weirdness your table comes up with. (Tantrums; Meltdowns; Screaming; or anything else a kid or adult could come up with) FOOD!!! OMG!!! No matter what is happening around you, know that your food will arrive warm, tasty, & complete. No myst... read more
Ambience: Standard diner vibes :) There's a decently sized waiting area with merchandise available for purchase near the entrance. The menu is designed as a newspaper, which was quite cute and creative! Lots of bear-themed decor paying homage to the name. Service: We were seated immediately once our party had arrived. Our waiter was very friendly and accommodating despite our large party (8+ people). Food came out quickly! Taste: Got the blackened pesto salmon, which was fairly standard, but portions are enormous! I came here because a few years back they announced they were serving the Beyond Burger. We'll fast forward to now. They don't. They carry the Dr. Prager Veggie burger. Which is made out of soy beans and soy flour. Which I definitely can't eat with my soy allergy. This is a serious disappointment. I've always loved the vibe and environment of the Black Bear diner and the oldies music. Definitely a cozy place to be. Our waitress was very nice but there were some large gaps were she'd go missing for a really long time. Get... read more
I got the 2 chicken sausage link breakfast combo. The links were not that good imo but everything else was really good. They have good service every time I've came and really big portion sizes. I always end up taking food to go so you definitely get your moneys worth. It's definitely worth trying and I love the decor inside.
Experience was great thanks to our attentive waitress Xochitl. The diner was busy (lunch hour) but food came out hot! I had their amazing cinnamon French toast. My partner had the ribs with tri tip (asked for it med rare got it more on the med well. So be clear on that. But other than that the food was great. Our kid got the fettuccine Alfredo with salmon 10/10 recommend.
