Finally had the chance to check this place out after hearing many good things and I was not disappointed. My server Michael always made sure to check on us and make sure we were well taken care of! Enrique also provided great service. I'll definitely be stopping by again all around a very enjoyable dining experience.
I came to dinner tonight and I was given amazing service by my server Michael! Then the manager enrique came by and asked how everything was and I told him that it was wonderful! Everything was great!
We enjoyed our food and the serviceat the Black Big Diner. I got Joe's Hobo Omelette and my husband the Grizz and the portions were hearty and the coffee was delicious. In addition Eva was extremely sweet and attentive, Enrique was also helpful and they provided quality service. My coffee was never empty thanks to them, and my 1 year old daughter also loved the cozy environment Black Bear has. We love coming here for a cozy breakfast! We recommend this location to everyone we know.
Our group meets at Black Bear Diner in Ventura. There is a lot of variety on the menu with generous portions. Scott was our server this week. He took good care of our large group. He was very attentive and friendly and made our experience enjoyable.
Good food and good service. I like their chicken fried steak with country gravy. I had it with their cornbread which was good, a little on the dry side, but nothing a little butter can't fix. Their servers are very attentive, kind and happy to make suggestions. My kids enjoyed their pancakes and eggs. My only gripe is that they don't have Coke products. Food was great! good servings and left me and my mother full! All servers work really fast and are on it! Emely V was our waitress and she did an awesome job! she continued to check up on us and made she we were alright! She had a fabulous and welcoming vibe that made us feel comfortable! Great Experience!!
Ysis is an amazing waitress ! She attentive and make sure everyone is satisfied. And this is everytime I'm there. Her customer service is excellent

We came here for an early dinner my Husband and Son and I. We went to the one in Vegas, but this is one is better. Our server is very friendly and had good manners. She is fast and so very nice. I love the cabin in the woods looks so I was comfy. Brought back times we spend in the mountains. The food is very good. Not a fan of the green beans or veggie soup, but when else was great!!
