Food was mostly okay. The server Rosa C could have been a little bit better. She was rushing, not sure why? It was freezing cold inside. We asked if they would possibly adjust the temperature, of course they did not. She said next time bring a sweater. Wow

The food always gives me home vibes. Very good food never disappoints. The fish and chips is a great dish it's my go to

I took my older sister there for her birthday. I was impressed with the ambience kinda make me feel like I was in big Bear. One thing I will not order is the fish and chips. Out of three pieces one was overcooked the second one I had to return it And the waitress was kind of enough to bring me another piece.. The fish coated was not fluffy. ,More like a Hard shell. Will I go back yes but I will not order the fish and chips .

Mike did a fantastic job serving us. He made good menu recommendations. The food was tasty. Mike was friendly and attentive to our needs. I'm glad we had the opportunity to sit in his station. We highly recommend the Big Bear Diner in Downey. We plan to return. And when we do I will be requesting a seat in Mike's station.

Came for a late dinner and everything was amazing. The food was amazing. Our server was Mike, he provided great service. Will definitely be coming back.

A couple of friends and I went here for the first time just for fun. We had a great experience, and our server Aurelia was very nice, and very tentative to our table and was over all a great server.

The food was absolutely awesome. Super large portions, made fresh and the chef actually knows how to cook. Large restaurant, fantastic parking, if this is not one of the best places to stop on the way to Vegas, nothing is very, very happy with this place. Great service, great food, great restaurant.

I've been to Black Bear Diners in several cities. It was actually mom's first time for brunch here. She not only enjoyed her Bear's Choice breakfast but, loved all things black bear from decor to the cute gift shop. We even purchased earrings and a key chain for her. Our family commonly redeems the birthday Bears Choice Breakdast for being on the emailing list. No shrinkflation at this corporate chain!
