I was just new to Arizona City and my neighbor recommended this diner The slowest service EVER THEN 20 mins for menu and another 20 minutes for service and another 35 mins for food and after all that the food was cold AND NOT WHAT WE HAD ORDERED AND THEN NO REFILLS ON COFFEE AND THE WAITRESS THAT WAS ALSO THE HOSTESS WAS NOT FRIENDLY AT ALL AND THIS WAS WITH ONLY 3 tables occupied and 1 Customer at counter The restaurant was clean and although it wasn't what we ordered it was good Need more staff and more friendly and w... read more

Husband and I were at the diner at 11am on 2/1/25, ordered a couple of sandwiches and waited. At 11:30 we asked a waitress to please check on our order. We noticed two other customers that came in at separate times were served their food. That was enough for us. I sure wish we would've checked out Yelp before we wasted an hour out of our day. We were walking inside, right when we opened the door there was this horrible smell it smelled like a porter potty that never gets cleaned. We sat down it took them 10 minutes just to ask us what drink we wanted and they we finally got our drinks and the waiter said "ill be right back with your straws" it took the waitress like 20 minutes just to get us some straws so we got tired of waiting so we just left ,also it wasn't even that busy there was like 9 people in there . Me, And Ny Roommate Have Only Eaten -At Least 3 Times Since They Have Opened Up . The Service Isn't All The Best. We've Had Numerous Customers Who Have Actually Talked -2- Us About This Problem, We Just Sit There And Listen To Them. Let Them Vent About The Poor Customer Service's. We waited about 10 minutes, when the host came out and seated the six people in front of us. Then came out and told us she wouldn't seat us until the people that she just seated put their food order in and then she would seat us, while we watched six employees standing around talking! Needless to say we left!
Service was extremely slow which in itself I could overlook. However the eggs Benedict was not what I am accustomed to. Stingy with the hollandaise, ham was extremely salty, hash browns were not normal, and fruit cup was not ripe. Overall, not a good experience.

Disappointed- the first time ever at this brand. Been there 3 times and was sure it would get better. It didn't! Waiters are extremely slow even when not busy. Today was last straw. Ordered chicken fried steak and eggs. Showed up cool with no gravy. Biscuit was very hard - at least three days old. Black Bear have been my go to but skip this one.
We recently tried the Eloy location for the second time, around 1pm on a weekday. Customer service had greatly improved since we tried them not too long after they opened. I ordered the chicken fried steak meal and it was good-- served hot. Salad was fresh and the dressing tasty. My husband ordered an omelette which was good. However, the potatoes served with it were cold and the giant biscuit was like a hockey puck.
