Don't like their food. Bland food. Service is good but I gave it 3 tries and still didnt like it
Disappointed with the lack of service, filth of the carpet, and wilted, black slimy lettuce that came out of the kitchen as a garnish with my burger! At a truck stop diner I expect fast efficient service. For two burgers and 2 iced teas we sat for over 30 minutes post ordering. Step it up or step out of the truck stop! Drivers all have places to go!
The service here was horrible! The waitress Ana came to take our order asked what we wanted but suddenly thought she had forgotten to bring another table something. She yelled out loudly to the other table and left us without an excuse me, sorry, or any explanation. Our grandson spilled his drink and I got up to let Ana know. I told her. She spent the next two minutes pouring coffee and tending to others needs. We left. We won't be going back.
(FOOD POISONING ALERT) My family and I ate here a few days ago (9/11/24) the place is a little dirty honestly. The windows are pretty dusty like they never dust anything. Once we sat down and ordered we ended up waiting a long time for our food, probably an hour. Once we got our food all of it was cold and tasted really stale. Plus our food was burnt. My mom ordered a beef sandwich that was really burnt and my husband's sandwich was burnt too. I had French toast that was over cooked and tasted stale but didn't smell right. ... read more
Stopped on our way from Phoenix. Not busy at all at 7:00 am. It took 45 minutes to get our breakfast. No coffee refills. Plenty of staff. Pancakes were awful. Won't try that again.
Poor service. Poor food. Should have stayed Iron Skillet. Their inability to make separate checks at the table and it has to be divided at the register is ludicrous. This is part of the poor customer service.
Been here 6x. 3 times during the day, 3 at night. Walked out twice during the night visits. 4 servers, 7 tables and waited 27min for a tuna melt. Day time service is average. Evenings I'd suggest Burger King across the street. 1 Star is generous
All I can say is that the hostess was kind. We were on a family trip, waiting for over an hour to get breakfast, and my wife simply asked our server when we might be served. The server was not only rude, but did not provide us a reasonable time as to when the food might be ready.we will not be back to this or any other of these cafés. It was our first time at a black bear and it will be our last time.
Went two different times and walked out both times. I keep seeing the reviews about working out the kinks, this place is hopeless. Bring back the Iron Skillet so much better!
