In 1995 founders Bruce Dean and Bob & Laurie Manley opened the first Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta, CA. Cynthia is a great waitress. She was very attentive. Service was #1, along with great priced food. Restaurant was clean .Temperature and quality of food is always awesome! We eat here quite often, because everything is amazing!

Came here today for lunch and had an amazing experience. Sydney our waitress did an amazing job. Quick with service and she kept the drinks filled the entire time which is impressive with the amount of Coca Cola that I drink. Next time you come in ask for Sydney and you will have a great experience. Food was hot and quick. Definitely making this our go to spot. The atmosphere was also great.

Thoroughly enjoyed the food and service. We ate breakfast and everyone in our party was impressed. They are very busy but still take care of their patrons. Will return again.
