I so wanted this place to be a nice local diner, taking the place of this building's previous iterations as Carrows and Coco's. I live nearby and it's convenient. Since the changeover, I've been here 4 times. The food and the service have the same problem: inconsistency. I usually have had breakfast food which seems to be their strong suit. Absolutely awful service. We had a party of 7, and was told the wait was 25 minutes.. definitely expected. When they called us for a table... it was a four top. A four top for 7 people? Not to mention there were 3 children with us. So another 15 minutes of waiting. We had to endure the hosts and cashiers talking terribly about us while we're standing and waiting.... very unprofessional to say the least. My grandson wanted to have lunch there after his promotion ceremony on June 15th. We arrived at approximately 1:45 pm, a party of 11. After 20 minutes 2 in our party had to leave as there didn't seem to be any effort to seat us. After 30 or so minutes they escorted us to the rear dining room, and as we passed the main area we were astonished to see that only about two tables were occupied.
