I love black bear dinner yesterday we went for breakfast and in the evening we went out with friends to have dessert. It was delicious except when I took another spoonful and there was a long hair baked in it. It was quite disturbing since a have a phobia for loose hairs. The waitress apologized and offered another dessert but that point I had lost my appetite but I didn't want to spoil it for our friends so yeah. They deducted the dessert of the bill but my fiancé payed for the rest of the bill.

The salad was fresh, the green beans were good except for a big stalk that was in them . Potatoes ,cornbread muffin & ice tea were good . Pot roast was dry, & the gravy had a weird taste that I didn't care for. Will I go back ? Yes . I'll just try something else. I hear their breakfast is great . Think I'll try the Grizz .

RecommendedKaylee and the coffee are Wonderful! The food quality has been going down our last few visits... Unfortunately this seems to happen when restaurants start aging....
I've had better service, coffee and meal at the mesa-tempe location!! Must of been an off day here in Goodyear so I wasn't really happy... O and the wait staff really shouldn't be wearing tight almost painted on jeans in a family restaurant! Just saying..

I had my birthday breakfast plate which was 3x size than Dennys and 3x better . Plus it was free when you register online . The service is great my coffee cup was never empty .
