Visited Black Bear Diner today for the first time in Harker Heights for breakfast. We were seated promptly and our server Jamie A. was terrific! She was polite and very attentive! The food was good and we had the best pancakes we have ever had! I would definitely go there again!

The waitress was not very attentive. She refilled my iced tea without any ice and she appeared as if she had better things to do that to serve us. The food was mediocre. We got fish and chips and a patty melt. Both were bland. They did use real cod though. We most likely won't eat there again except maybe to try their breakfast food. There are better choices nearby.

The food was good I ordered The waffle with strawberries and I had eggs and hash browns with coffee it was my first time there it was delicious and the Service was great our waitress was named Jackie she did an awesome Job made sure we had everything we needed and there to make sure we had refills. The ambiance was nice. The menu had so much to choose from. Have to go back to see what I can choose from.

The food was great. The service was great! I ordered the steak and eggs, simple I know, but it's a great way to see if a restaurant can make a simple meal great, and the really did. The New York strip was cooked just right and my eggs were perfectly cooked over easy. I also ordered the fruit as a side and they served freshly chopped fruit. The homemade biscuits were also very good and HUGE! Im definitely going back.

Really good food. Large portions and quickly served. The people are nice and the decor reminds me of when I lived in Alaska. The prices are affordable and the food quality is great. Definitely would go back.

Our server, Donny, was great. He was very friendly and checked to see how we were doing. The food was excellent and arrived in a timely manner. We'll definitely ask for Donnie next time we come in.

The best Reuben around these parts!! Hands down!! Always great service generous portions and save room for dessert!

Service was very good, food was just ok, the restaurant uses extremely bright lighting which gave off a cold feel rather than a warm diner atmosphere. The menu was huge! I think they make just about everything.
