People are friendly but I was not pleased with my chicken-fried steak. Yucky. The waitress told me it was one of their best sellers. They give you lots of food. I will try eating breakfast there, I heard it was pretty good.

Very cute diner, with a bit of a wait. I hade the chicken club with sweet potato fries and was not disappointed, my daughter had the pancakes (they were sweeter than my preference) and she enjoyed them. The waitress was very busy but attentive. Will be returning soon.

Loved the dinning area sitting. Food portions are big. The service was pleasant. Our waitress was reasonably attentive. Cute lobby/gift shop area. Food was satisfyingly good.

The food was amazing and totally worth the wait. The ambiance was like going camping and it reminded me of home up in Northern Virginia. I'll definitely be coming back for more delicious food!

This was a really good place to have breakfast. The food was enjoyable, the customer service was nice, and it was just nice overall. Very underrated. The only problem was that the hash browns tasted a little weird, but that might just be my opinion.

Huge portions so go hungry! Takes a little bit to get your order, but well worth the wait. Very cute diner and a definite hot spot for the after church crowd.

So far not starting out good, the hostess must be related to Eore and the amount of cat hair in her, you could make a cat out of it. The decoration is great. For me it's bear have. however the staff is not so happy to be at work. We order our food at 9:15 and it's 9:52 and still no food, yea we foot our food 9:55. The food was super sized and good. Now we have to wait on our check

My wife and I went their for breakfast and the experience was great. The food was great and despite the great number of customers they had this morning, they were still able to take our order and serve us our food fast. We didn't even have to wait long. Our server Rihanna was very professional, lively, friendly and served us with a great smile on her face. That made us feel welcomed and created a positive environment. Thank you Rihanna and thank you Black Bear Diner

I love Black Bear!!!! This is the second time I've been here.... Carle, our waitress, was wonderful!!!! The pot roast is better than my mom's!!! I just don't know how they make the meat so tender and yet so hearty!!! Their carrot cake and the corn bread are remarkable...and the service we had is perfection!!! I will be an avid customer for life when it stays as good as it was tonight!!! Thank you Black Bear!!!!
