I love Black Bear!!!! This is the second time I've been here.... Carle, our waitress, was wonderful!!!! The pot roast is better than my mom's!!! I just don't know how they make the meat so tender and yet so hearty!!! Their carrot cake and the corn bread are remarkable...and the service we had is perfection!!! I will be an avid customer for life when it stays as good as it was tonight!!! Thank you Black Bear!!!!
We always go to this restaurant‼ I have had tri-tips, salmon, & veggie burger. All on different occasions. Sweet potato fries, always ending with huckleberry ice cream. I just wish you had the huckleberry pie to go with the ice cream. To tell you about an amazing server. His name is Matthew. Ask for him. He was prompt, attentive and very pleasant ‼‼. Thanks Matthew, we'll be back again soon.
The service was great sweet people but come on y'all ain't no way y'all's avocado toast looked like this and you still sent it out...no way is this ok
My family wanted to take me here to try something new to eat! They were very keen about this place and I'm glad we stopped by. This place is super busy, so I would recommend going early. The wait was over an hour, so we we t shopping down the road to help pass the time. It was perfect because we drove back when we saw we were third in line. Michelle was our waiter and she was really sweet. She told about how she was grandma and loved her mannerisms. Once all of our food came in, I saw how huge the portions were! I loved ... read more
This was the second time that I visited this Diner. The first time I gave it three stars because of the service and the length of time that it took to get the food and the wait time for what the waitress forgot. Today as I took my seat the manager Laura came and asked had I been helped to which I answered no. She immediately got a waitress name Carlle to come over to take my order. As I waited I could tell the manager was very compassionate about her job as moves throughout the Diner checking on customers. As I say there dr... read more
Summer did exceptionally well. She was attentive to us while having a table on the opposite side of the restaurant. She was pleasant and thorough while not being intrusive while we ate or breakfast. Thank Summer!
This evening, my husband and I went to Black Bear Diner. This was our 3rd time. Due to the weather being so bad, we did not have a wait (wasn't very busy). Our food was amazing and great portions. Krystin was our server this time, and she was amazing and knew the menu very well. She was very polite and continued to check on us throughout our visit. This has become one of our favorite places.
Came in yesterday around 4p w my parents, their service dog, my sister and my son. Party of 5, all adults. Requested a booth to accommodate my mother's physical needs. I'll also say this is the second or third establishment in this particular building. Renovations and construction look rushed. Wallpaper was peeling in various locations around the facility and it looks like it still needs some tlc. Our waitress was nice at first. The menu is worded in a way that I thought I was getting a full plate of food, I did ask for subs... read more
Took the family here and apparently it's opening day. Employees were attentive and welcoming! Loved there is seating for larger families. Food was fresh.
