In 1995 founders Bruce Dean and Bob & Laurie Manley opened the first Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta, CA. Food was excellent - service first class. Cashier’s abrupt attitude spoilt the evening - I wanted to buy 2 mugs to be told - no - a very definite NO. !!

Great place to break away from the Strip for a giant size breakfast. Excellent food and service. The biscuit was almost the size of a softball and yet fluffy and tender, aka the bomb! Great way to start our day. Thanks.
