I was hesitant to go to black bear because big restaurant chains don't usually impress me. It was around mid morning and I had brought my two little kids with me. I usually have to flag down a waitress at most places because I always need to order quickly to calm my kids down with food fast but my waitress Jalayne was so attentive and quick that it was such a relief. First time here and it was excellent! Our server was named Jamie. She was the most attentive and kind server I've ever had. She took orders right away and continuously asked if we needed anything. The restaurant was packed to the brim; but our food still came quite quickly. Food was great as well. Highly recommend, ask for Jamie! (Don't let the large crowd waiting scare you off, they seat tables quickly)

We've been here 4 times now and haven't had a bad experience yet. The food is always delicious, order is always correct and the servers are always happy to help in any way they can. Every server we have had so far seems so happy to be here which makes the experience that much better. We are always seated in less than 5 minutes and our food comes out within 10 minutes of ordering. I have been to a few other black bear's before and they just don't compare to this one!
So glad this place came to Lodi! Fast seating, service was excellent. Food came out right away, and the portions were huge. Food was great! Our waitress Velia, was outstanding! Checked on us the right amount of times, made small talk, great customer service and always smiling!!! Loved her!!! What a great experience the food was great. The servers were friendly and helpful we want to thank Esmeralda and faith for making our breakfast experience so much fun I definitely recommend this to all my friends.
Finally got our chance to try out the new location in town. Clean and good food as always! But the staff was amazing, everyone was super friendly and attentive! Our waiteess tonight was Elisa and she was amazing and went above and beyond, after informing me that the brownies were all out for the night she still managed to bring me a fresh hot one from the back! Amazing!

This place is great. Good food, our waiter was so great and helpful. And they are helpful when it comes to being gluten free, your able to request a gluten free bun for your burger or sandwich I thought that was very cool, since I have celiac disease an can't eat gluten. Overall good place
