We just returned from Thanksgiving dinner at Black Bear Diner in Lodi. We are traveling, and had never eaten at a Black Bear Diner before. The Turkey dinner was FANTASTIC! The quality of food was outstanding! The volume of food was amazing, and the service was very friendly and fast. I hope all of these restaurants have the same quality. Very impressive. And, they closed early so the staff could have a holiday. I don't often applaud restaurants, but this one is an exception. Outstanding!

Looking for large portions, delicious food and the best service?? You'll find it at The Black Bear Diner!! My sister and I decided to give it a try after a fun day of shopping and it did NOT disappoint!! This was a great eating experience. The food came out super fast despite how busy they were. We loved our waitress Ramona! We will be coming back very soon. I was impressed.

They did a great job flipping Coco's to black bear. So cute! Our first time at this location. We were seated immediately, service was great, staff was friendly, and food was yummy! We will definitely be back.

Recently opened in Lodi, I wanted to visit for Veteran's Day to check it out and enjoy a free meal. Having dined at other area Black Bear Diners prior, I was craving for their Papa Bear with all the fixings burger, crispy fries and pumpkin spice pie. This place was the best place by far from any other places I've been. Fast and friendly service, AMAZING food and the atmosphere was phenomenal. I definitely will be coming back!!! I also will be recommending this place to friends and family. My new favorite place ever!!!

I came to black bear diner today for lunch. They were pretty busy, my server was Ramona. First off let me tell you that she has to be one of their best workers hands down Not only was she our server I seen her assist other workers as well.Upon entering she was quick to greet us with a smile as well as the other ladies at the front and we were seated pretty quickly. I've been to several other Black Bear Diners, however this was my first time at the Lodi location and I was disappointed. I typically order the Lite Meatloaf dinner so when my plate arrived I was disappointed that my meatloaf was sitting in tons of liquid as well as the veggies. The veggies were soggy because of it. I'm not sure if it was a run off from the gravy but when I would lift the meatloaf up to eat it, it was dripping of the liquid. I ate because I was hungry but couldn't down the veggies.
