First time eating at Black Bear diner and the surroundings was very comfortable. I ordered some pancakes and hash browns and they were very delicious, amazing service. My server name was marcos.
We've been coming here since this place has opened. It's close to the house, and offers a wide variety of food. But what really makes this restaurant a go to for us is one specific waitress. Now we've never had a bad server here, but one in particular really makes our experience is Sara. I bring my elderly mother here for dinner once a week with my girlfriend. We went for breakfast on a weekday. Food was good, and portions were ample. Waitstaff seemed distracted, and that's the reason for just three stars. We couldn't seem to attract the attention of servers, who literally avoided eye contact when passing the table. Finally just got up and took another napkin from a vacant table. Took forever to get our check. Last but not least, we were seated near a door to the patio area, and it was a very windy day. We love this place and visit often!!! Only complaint I have is, today I requested my eggs on a separate plate since I'm allergic to them and unfortunately they arrived on my plate so I had to use my only napkin to clean my plate to avoid an allergic reaction. We requested additional napkins and it took 20 mins to get them. I don't like to complain at all but allergies are a serious matter. Don't worry, we'll still be back!!
