Me and my husband went Sunday for the first time but we were so disappointed food was nusty bad service the girl told us that we were going to get a lot of food so we ordered one plate for me and my husband but our sorprice it's was small portions never go back .

I've been coming to Black Bear Diner for a while now and I love the food and service here, but this has to be the worst experience we have ever had. We came in last night and got sat quickly, but it took a long time for our server Tyler to come over. I didn't think much of it because it was a fairly busy night. I had a really disappointing experience at this Black Bear Diner. The service was extremely slow and unprofessional from the start. My food came out cold, and when I sent it back, it came out cold again, which shows a complete lack of care or quality control. What made the experience worse was the way I was treated by the staff. I would have to say today was not my best experience in Menifee location. I arrived little before 4 pm did not look busy however it appears there were only 2 server's. I get seated quickly however one server says she will be right with me! Other counter girl asks what i wanted several minutes later 12 minutes in I have no water no menu, so I left! Review for Black Bear Diner - Sun City, CA I woke up wanting to take my family out for breakfast, so we decided on Black Bear Diner. My wife, my two daughters, my son, and I got there around 7:20 a.m. We were seated pretty quickly, and our drinks came about ten minutes later. I was really hungry, so I ordered the Grizz. I had a group of 8 guests for breakfast; we were offered seating and then moved two times since the two other placed had been reserved, it took a very long time just for the waitress to come over, even more to be served! Food was well served and appetizing at first sight, however, taste was horrible! Pancakes and waffles had no taste, sirup was watery, nothing compared to Deny's thick maple sirup. They rush you through your meal if their shift is about to end. Completely inconsiderate of whether you need more food, coffee, water, etc. Food was average and served cold. I had to ask for it to be heated. Extremely uncomfortable.

Well... The food smells awesome I mean even though I get it through a delivery service. I was really upset that they didn't know how to cook a bear claw though. Mine was I had raw dough on the inside and the outside was dry and over baked. They need to understand that they need to lower the temperature and let it bake a little bit longer.... Nobody likes to eat raw dough! And nobody likes to eat in the same item over baked product... I mean the claws were overdone and the inside was raw.... Not good!

I was using the establishment several times a week. The first two visits were awful. The the food to very poor quality. Some items were ok, If you have a problem with your order the Manager will interrogate you like German Gestapo. He is not concerned with your happiness, just his bottom line. Very cocky has no problem making you feel uncomfortable even if he loses a regular customer. Take my advice as someone who loves quality food and friendly environment, skip this place!
