Time for an update since I wrote this in the car immediately after walking out the door. I had not heard from my husband about what happened at the cashier stand while I was talking to the "Manager" Food was decent. We added a salad and cornbread to a meal which the menu says is $4.99. When the check came it added 4.99 for the salad and 2.49 for the cornbread . After showing the cashier the error that should have been a fixable no brainer... But no Juan Hernandez says "no." Came in ordered the codfish and chips took it to go got it home. All of the fish inside was completely mushy uncooked or improperly cooked. Should I say called the store back spoke to one of the managers I was told they would get back to Mimis so I could get it replaced no one ever got back to me. I got busy I gave up through the fish in the trash total waste of money. Really wanted a waffle. They have a Strawberry cream variety. Waitress said it was good so why not give it a shot. It may have been me, but it tasted terrible, and I was hungry. Chocked down part of it... so much for a tasty waffle. How can you make a waffle taste like sawdust? Thank goodness for the iced tea to wash out my mouth. I mentioned how dissatisfied I was just to give them an FYI. The manager made an adjustment on the bill. Cheap/stale ingredients at fine-dining prices. We just moved to the area and gave this restaurant 4 tries because the staff are so nice. The food just isn't good. Open-face turkey: stale bread, dry turkey, overcooked veggies. Burger baskets: paper thin overcooked burger patties, stale buns, drippy, greasy & overcooked onion rings. Instant iced tea. $58 lunch for 2 people.

I've never had a problem in the past, but this was a horrible experience. I ordered the crispy chicken ranch wrap, and the 2nd half had zero chicken in it just a puddle of ranch. Definitely wouldn't recommend. Service was also horrible. Hopefully it gets better.

I ordered the fish fry plate. To start, the service was bad, and there was no greeting from the manager he just passed me off to someone else. The fish was not good, with and no flavor, the fries were cold. That was my first time there and I do not plan to go back. Too bad I was so looking forward to a great Friday night fish dinner very disappointing.

My Favorite family breakfast place after church but today we had a really bad service. Food so delicious as always but our server this time was like upset cause no smile to start, never asked if we needed refills, never asked if we were doing ok, and forgot our as usual carry out for my son who doesn't like to join us but still loves the food. A totally bittersweet experience!
