I've been in this industry for three decades, I helped open this restaurant. What happened to BBD's core values and the service part. Since when is it reasonable for someone who's standing in a line to let someone else jump the line to check out first. Especially when you know that person is not waiting for togo food that is sitting right behind her? The whole energy of this restaurant has changed. I thought I would give you guys one more chance but never again. we ordered food to go and I got a hot chocolate that consists of the cup not even a quarter full with a lid that didn't work. I ordered an extra side of fruit and no extra fruit in the bag. I got eggs Benedict and it is so bad I wouldn't feed it to my dogs. Gross food.

my wife and I loved black bear diner for years after they opened the newberg location. however we went there for dinner a couple of months ago. Food portions shrunk. mashed potatoes were barely warm. had to ask to have muffins brought to us that were included in dinner price. went there again for breakfast last week to see if we just had one bad experience. hash browns were barely warm. bacon was over done and so crisp it was hard to eat. asked for country gravey on the side and cooks put it on my biscuit instead of in a bow... read more
