In 1995 founders Bruce Dean and Bob & Laurie Manley opened the first Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta, CA. Love this place so much that it has become a must stop on our way back to Dallas. Both times we have eaten here we had the pleasure of being waited on by Irma. She always has a smile on her face and very attentive. The building is always clean and the food delicious. I recommend you also make this a must stop.

Food was ok... the French Toast was so eggy it wasn't edible (luckily I wasn't charged for it). The kiddos liked the pancakes. The hash browns are just ok.

Excellent breakfast food as always and Brenda was a terrific server with a sense of humor. Big breakfasts and big hearts.

Great food, large portions. Our server Ms. Toni was very nice. Food came out fast.

The original burger was great, with a side of fruit. I ordered online for delivery, it was on target. The only thing missing was condiments, but I may have missed that in ordering and napkins. So no comments on ambiance.
