I wrote a detailed review of my experience and FB discarded it. We went last night. We were seated quickly. Then it took about an hour and fifteen minutes after we ordered to get our food, which was lukewarm. They forgot my four-year-old's pancakes (longer wait). They served my mom's baked potato with horseradish. Part of our party didn't eat and left with boxes. They charged full price for everything and didn't offer any concessions.

Food was okay. Service was carp. Waited way to long for our food and parts of it were cold. Our waitress didn't know anything about the menu. Had to keep repeating to have her bring us things. Others who had seated after us all good there food before us. I'll maybe give it a second chance.

This was to be my regular Sunday "go to" place, as I like eating Breakfast for dinner on Sundays. I had two great experiences food wise, and service wise. (Nicholas and Shawn were my servers.) Then it all went downhill. The third time I had an awful server. She was rude and didn't follow through on service. After waiting for 10 minutes for her to return with a straw, I got up and got it myself. I saw her goofing off in the back. Then yesterday I decided to return and was seated after standing at the desk for a while.... read more

Went there tonight with our friends the Newbolds for Kelly's birthday. We were seated at 5:15, got up and walked out at 5:40 without being visited by a waiter or waitress. After 15 minutes we stopped the hostess and told her, she said she'd get someone. 10 minutes after that we left and went to Mimi's Cafe, had our food before 25 minutes. Black Bear Diner was not busy.

My stake was burnt then it was still mooing! But finally after the third time around. I could finally eat it and it turned our good. Would try again!
