I came here with my family and unfortunately had a really disappointing experience. The wait for our food was very long. I ordered a Cobb salad, which should be one of the quickest items to prepare, but it took forever to come out. Because we were running late, I only had time to take a few bites before we had to leave and I took the rest to go. When I got home, I noticed the eggs in my salad had mold all over them. Over a month - emailed the company per their request - and STILL NOTHING! Don't spend hard earned money at a restaurant that clearly doesn't care about their customers or quality of food for the outrageous prices they charge. Shameful!

This is very sad we love coming here the food is good and the service is great, employees are very friendly, but unfortunately this time there was a hair in my food. That is just a deal breaker for me. It's been under staffed for years now and they always have new people working and usually only like 3 or 4 people. Don't know I'll be back. Such a bummer.

Absolutely the worst Black Bear Diner in the US. I ordered thru Doordash and my order came in late like one hour late . On the app I could see my dasher waited for a half an hour inside the restaurant and that was the second half hour. Food came unsealed. Yes the bag was not sealed at all, no stickers nothing. The socal omelette is so watery and the hashbrowns too. I tried to refry the hashbrowns but still soggy. The biscuit, cold and hard. Went in to have breakfast and was horrified by the way the kitchen manager Brian treated his employees!!! I was close enough to hear him using profanity in Spanish and English to degrade the cooks! It broke my heart, my spirt and my appetite! I am unsure as how the upper management allows this abuse!! Today Estephania the "manger " was there and even after it was brought to her attention it continued!! My food at that point was gross because my stomach hurt !! So very disappointed that we chose to go to Black Bear on Thanksgiving Day 2025. It was baser than usual, I know because this was our 3rd time visiting in the last two months. We we seated right away though. But, not served. The waitress passed a couple of times saying she would be right back and take our order. UPDATE - I emailed per the request/reply to this post and never heard from anyone. That was almost 2 weeks ago. NOT impressed. Check your food carefully!! We received takeout tonight and it was completely inedible and unsafe!! The eggs Benedict had hollandaise sauce that looked like it sat out all day and due to the dairy ingredients would make someone sick if they consumed it. Me and my family visiting from out of town came in to the Rancho Cucamonga diner today. The place is nice and the food is great, but our waiter was not too friendly and seemed a little on edge I believe his name was Mario. It made all of us on edge. As you look around at the other waiter and waitresses they are all happy and smiling. It was busy today so I don't know if he realized he was coming off that way.

I came to the Black Near Diner today with my husband and our service dog. My husband and I felt a little uncomfortable by the way they looked at us for bringing the dog in. They sat us at the first booth by the door and there were a lot of empty booths there. Meanwhile we had a server named Mario who was not too friendly, but more in a rush to move on to the next table.
