Went there for Thanksgiving lunch 2025. We were told we could get broccoli or green beans. We were there for for early lunch.. They were out of broccoli already. got mushy green beans. Asked about substitution roll for corn bread was told they didn't have dinner rolls, yet someone in our party got "biscuits". Requested horseradish for prime rib. Got straight horseradish. The worst corn beef hash I've ever had. Awful. Followed by sketchy service from a very unpleasant server. Asked for coffee twice before it came. My friend asked for a to go box that never came. She ended up getting it herself. Biscuits were good. I'd rather go to Dennys.

Normally I don't leave reviews, but this experience deserves one. My son and I waited over 30 minutes on a slow day, only to watch multiple tables that were seated after us get their orders while we still patiently waited for ours. It was just the two of us, and I was only ordering a few sides--nothing complicated. We finally told our server we were leaving because it was taking too long to get our order, and all he said was, "I'm sorry." I have always been a fan of black bear diner but I usually go to the location in la habra. This is my first time trying this location in Rancho, and I ordered an online pickup. The server, who was packaging my food I noticed was previously cleaning the facility's floor pulling trash out of a vacuum. Disaster was hoping it had improved I would give zero stars if I could. I did not get any pics of the food. Ordered a Parmesan sourdough burger that was supposed to have Swiss cheese and substitute a veggie patty. The first time the server brought something on marbled rye bread that had a burned burger patty. Ordered meatloaf din it was not even warm tasted like there was way too much bread crumbs it it, the onions topped on was dry and like rubber band, the grn beans super salty and mush. Black Bear Diner - Rancho Cucamonga Waited so long I started questioning my life choices. Should've walked out--would've dodged a bullet and a depression meal. Pancakes were grief-flavored, bacon had the texture of regret, and the coffee tasted like betrayal. Free birthday meal, but somehow still felt robbed.

overcooked or dry food, slow service due to staffing shortages, and unhelpful staff. We been waiting for a hour for our meals. And the audacity for the manager to tell us "you need something?" When we got our meals it was fine, however the sandwich was dry and had little to no chicken. The waitress never came to by to see if we needed water or anything. As a waitress you're supposed to check if customers need anything. Also They only had 1 cook. The waitress also kept rolling her eyes. The coffee was cold

You're really hungry and you want good food don't come here. We're just walked out. Cold food and service is very slow. I went to other diners and I love love their pancakes. My pancakes were stiff, hard and cold food never again. In Rancho Cucamonga.
