We were on vacation in Reno. Traveled all the way from Kansas to meet a little girl we are adopting. She has cerebral palsy and our son has heart failure and is developmentally delayed. Your waitress Isabelle needs to learn to work in a more professional way. She's a very unhappy person who brings that feeling to the customers. Not coming back to experience her again. �
I have been here three times and the service was subpar. I will never come here again after today. Our server seated an older gentleman at the counter and took his order before getting ours, and we had been at our table for nearly 10 minutes. Never again.
Attention DoorDash, Grubhub and all other delivery gig-econ drivers! This is the worst place I have ever done an order and pay delivery at. They are very rude and disrespectful and to us delivery drivers. I came into place to place this order because they hung up on me when I called because I was a Grubhub driver. I’ve never been disappointed at a Black Bear before. Hash browns were all mushy like mashed potatoes. Perhaps leftovers from yesterday? Chicken fried steak was cut in half and stacked on top of itself. It didn’t have any breading on it. The whole plate had the appearance like it had been served to someone else prior to me. Service was good but she must have been embarrassed to bring plate out to me. Never again at the Virginia St. Reno location.
Writing for a friend who is blind, she ordered a burger and has an allergy to tomato and citrus, made it very clear to the waitress. When her food came the burger had tomato on it, with a garnish of orange on the plate as well. The waitress stopped her before eating it but then preceded to tell other customers of the incident as if it was a joke. Not very pleased with the service received.
