We stopped to eat at Black Bear Diner as we were passing through on our way to Bryce Canyon. Food was good, service was prompt and friendly. My only complaint would be that there were a lot of employees standing around talking at the front counter. It was slow as it was around 8:00 p.m. but it would have been better in my opinion to do this in the back. Cute and homey restaurant.

Homey, decidedly local restaurant serving truly homemade meals. We thoroughly enjoyed the meatloaf and the pot roast - both delicious. The service was prompt and professional.

Came in for breakfast - it wasn't busy when we got here, but it started filling up as we ate. They were a but short-staffed, but the service was excellent (shout out to Millie for being rockstar!) and the food was delicious! The menu offers something for everyone, and huge portions. And all the bears are really cute too.

Vast menu with something for everyone. Excellent friendly service. Had one of the best burgers I've had in a long time. HH enjOyed avocado toast. Excellent for a chain restaurant.

We ate here while staying the night next door at the hotel. Everything was perfect. Food was delicious. The huckleberry milkshake was yummy. Our server waited on us and checked on us without delay. The restaurant itself is so cutely decorated. I had been at a Black Bear Diner in Vallejo California and the food was great but I don't remember such extensive decor. A great stop on our road trip.

Best place in town to get food at a decent price. Service can be either great or terrible, depending on who is waiting your table. Nice, family friendly place to eat.

Decent breakfast food with hearty portions all at a fair price. Got an omelot which was big and stuffed with meat, veggies and cheese--more than most diners that I've been too. Building was clean and staff was very friendly and attentive. Family friendly and everything was themed with bears.

During our road trip from CA to KS, we decided to stop by Richfield UT we were warmly welcomed by the diner host, and the server was friendly and smiling. The menu had a variety of options, and our server happily provided recommendations when asked. I ordered a Bacon and Cheese Burger with a side of Chicken Tortilla Soup. The soup was spicy but flavorful, accompanied by slightly stale saltine crackers. We also had a side of fries. While the burger tasted good, it wasn't particularly special. As someone not typically a fan ... read more

I took my family into Black Bear in Richfield a couple of weeks ago and were seated. Our waitress came and greeted us and was very nice and helpful. She was very attentive and very professional. Food was good, Price is what it is considering the servings and the current economy, thanks for the military discount. Now to the service that we received. It was absolutely refreshing to have someone who shows that she likes her job and is very good at her job. Thank you Camille, you were a breath of fresh air. You were courteous, f... read more
