I came in at about 7PM on Sunday, with a party of 12 people. I ordered Meat loaf, I got severe food poisoning, started vomiting at 2AM. I will never go there again and will advise friends not to either. The over all presentation of the food for everyone, was worse than Denny's.
Waitress was very nice, but passed us 5 or 6 times without asking if we needed anything. Never refilled our drinks. Food was mediocre at best. Very small portions of chicken fried steak, potatoes were not cooked thoroughly. And the biscuits were cold and fell apart as if they were very old. I’ve dined at other black bear diners and they were very good. This one just misses the mark.

The biscuits were hard as a rock with just enough gravy to coat the top of them. So I sent back the biscuits and gravy and ask for a fresh batch with more gravy too., they brought me back another order of the biscuits ... read more
