Food was OK. The worst part was the pan handler begging for money that came up To us while eating our dinner in the restaurant. The waitress apologized and said she didn’t see “her” I never stated it was a female or male. I’m assuming it wasn’t the first incident.
Food was okay, however if they wish to move from the sticks of NoCal to the diverse environment of SoCal or possibly the east coast, then they should be more accommodating and knowledgeable about dietary restrictions. They kept trying to serve me what I specifically told them I was trying to avoid. It's either ignorance or apathy.
Me equivoqué todo bien mucha espera pero valio la pena bien SI ME GUSTO

Didn’t have chance to sample food. Had called about a venue I was cohosting and was assured there would not be an issue, however day of event the area was not very accommodating, staff were not friendly and my guests were not pleased.

We had visited a Black Bear Diner in Arizona and had a very good experience. We visited this location in Santa Ana and it was an ok experience. I Ordered the biscuits and gravy and there wasn't much gravy on the biscuits and I had to ask for more. The home style potatoes that came with the meal were almost raw in the center. Maybe the cooks were feeling rushed.

Food was awesome, service not so great. Asked for onion rings, got French fries, my niece asked for a hamburger with mayo and pepper jack cheese, got Berger with thousand island, avacado and cheddar cheese. Waitress too order back and we had to wait for new order. Then when we left too pay they over charged us an extra hamburger. Watch your bill.
