We love Black Bear for our weekend breakfast. The portions are generous and the staff is super friendly!
I have been going to this diner since 2021, and it's my favorite diner in the valley! I'm giving it 5 stars mostly because of the service. Of course, my favorite chicken fried steak is (happy tears) delicious! But I mostly love this place because of Cece (Cecile). She's always been an amazing server since I started coming here - super friendly, professional, accommodating, and all round great! She's always on it. I am never lacking coffee (and God knows that prevents me from turning green). Thanks Cece!
Food was amazing and the servers were very accommodating and kind. I liked the aongs they played on the jukebox.
Food was great. Their sweet cream pancakes are delectable. Its a bit better than normal pancakes because of that slight difference. Pancakes were nice and fluffy. Nutella and Banana on top was just the cherry on top. We got two coffees and shared a freshly made orange juice along with water. I got the two eggs breakfast with bacon, toast and hash brown. Heads up before reading, I only got take-out here, so that's all I can speak for. I was at a bar down the block and desperate for food after coming from work. Almost everywhere was either already closed or about to close and Black Bear was the only place that would take my online order for pickup before closing. Overpriced and very meh. Got only 2 items, eggs Benedict and bear claw (desert). Which came out to be few bucks short of $50. Mines you, I got both to go and didn't even dine here. The eggs Benedict was okay and what some what made up for the total price was the bear claw desert which was pretty decent. Wouldn't go again for breakfast maybe just for desert.

First timers! Went in for a traditional breakfast. Our waiter Cece was super nice. We knew she had experience in tasty food and was quick to recommend a few things to our cravings that morning.
