huge hearty breakfast and good coffee, excellent service at the counter on an early sunday morning. i've eaten at this chain before and it's a solid place. one issue was the hashbrowns were way to crispy. thanks for being open for this traveling duo!

This BBD has only been opened since Aug 2023, which is barely 3 months ago. The decor is cute and classy. The location is great, conveniently off the freeway and close to gas station and a travel store, just before hitting crazy Phoenix traffic. Christopher, our server, was fabulous. He greeted us from behind the counter when we walked in, seated us as soon as he was able, introduced to us the newspaper menu and what's inside. The restaurant was quiet this morning and the service was great! The food was delicious, just like in the many other Black Bear Diners that we have visited. Our server Kaleena was very attentive and refilled our coffee cups before we reached the bottom of the cups!

Hidden gem in a driving desert. Delicious breakfast and interesting conversation. The service was good and fast. The truckers have great stories and it is interesting to hear how things are run through the country.
