In 1995 founders Bruce Dean and Bob & Laurie Manley opened the first Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta, CA. The sandwiches at our table--BLT, Patty Melt, and Club--were all great. The sides were good too, slaw and especially the sweet potato fries--all yummy. Service was fast from our friendly wait person. We enjoyed the clean and bright dining area with cute decor, and the prices were very reasonable. What a huge menu, and I especially appreciated the lite side menu options. One cobbler dessert was big enough for three of us to share, and delish! All in all, a great place to eat--can't wait to go again!
