We have eaten at other Black Bear Diners and the food has always been awesome. This place we have eaten at twice the first time the food was burnt. This time we did an order to go and didn't get all the food we ordered and the person taking the order seem confused. I don't think we will be back to this location.
Service failed at the door. Hostess didn't put our name down, waited until two other parties were seated before us. We left and ate elsewhere.
I went there yesterday & the food was ok but the service wasn't any good I ordered chicken parmesan & they gave me the chicken with no pasta plus they took a little too long to take our order they also forgot my son's drink I reminded our server & he still never took it I understand they just opened so I didn't say anything I'll just go back in the future see how they are doing. *servers do need a better trainer!! *
Black bear dinner is an excellent chain.. but I really hope they improve their quality & customer service.. a little disappointed about this particular one but hoping that it's just because it's new.. I would hate to see this place go because of lack of training..

Rude, Orders not right, Long wait with 5 empty tables, get seated 25 min to see a waitress, waiter brings silverware and outs it on the table by handling the business end of the knives forks and spoons instead of the handles 2nd time NEVER AGAIN!!

I sat for almost an hour while before I got my food. 3 other tables sat about 20-30 mins after me and got there food 15-20 after ordering. Yesterday, August 12, my mobile take-out order was quoted a time of 12:47. I gave them and extra 15 mins before showing up because they just opened for business, 3 weeks ago and they're busy. Our food was good when we got it. My husband ordered s chicken fried steak & got chicken instead. 3 others in our party never got their food at all. When we finished eating the others canceled their order. Those with no food were given a dessert to take home. We went early at 4 pm but that didn't help. More training needed!
