Elegant accommodations with modern amenities Our stay at the 1889 WhiteGate Inn and Cottage was extremely enjoyable. The gracious innkeepers and friendly staff were attentive and anticipated our every need. While we stayed at the beautiful and private cottage, we had full access to the public rooms in the main inn, where we could relax around a grand player piano in the parlor and a working wurlitzer jukebox in the sunroom. Elegant and cozy at the same time The owners and staff are friendly,warm and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and the conversation easily flowed. There were many laughs as well! Guests could not help but be charmed by these surroundings. A return visit is on our agenda.
My Favorite Escape I have been going to the Whitegate Inn for five years. Every time I have a vacation, I am ready to go. The owners are good friends, and so superior in the way they handle the guests. I have never had a better experience, and it just keeps getting better.

Would not even consider staying anywhere else in Asheville Wonderful Staff and Innkeepers. Very fun stay and our every need was met and exceeded with care! This place wants your repeat business and is greatful to have you there. Excellent breakfast that are made with thoughtful consideration. We had such a good time, we are going back with our best friends. Asheville is a cool town and this IS the place to stay.
