Although this review is dated for October 2022, in fact it's for over 7 years of support for my mom who passed away in October. Bluebird have been magnificent throughout my elderly mother's last years of life, enabling her to live at home despite having difficult mobility issues. Throughout the pandemic they were faultless, supporting her even when the NHS/doctors wouldn't come out. They lobbied GPS, District Nurses, and others to come out and help. Thank you all for your excellent care of my sister whilst she was still at home, the carers and staff were very professional and caring towards her, at the time she was against going into a care home and the carers used to see her every day and cook her a hot meal, she went into care in July and the team were very helpful in assisting us to do this whilst I was unable to do so myself. Excellent service would highly recommend it.

The Bluebird team have been caring for Mum for just over a year, and during that time, they have provided an excellent care package that can be tailored to her changing needs. The staff are all professional, friendly and caring, ensuring Mum’s dignity is maintained at all times. Mum does not want to go into a care home, and the Bluebird care package has enabled us to look after her at home. Bluebird cared for my step-father and continue caring for my mother. We have always found the staff very professional and polite whilst undertaking their duties. Applies equally to both onsite and office staff. Invariably helpful and adaptable to changing situations. The management and provision of care for my very poorly father was excellent as was the care and consideration shown to us; his family. The assistance we received in dealing with the NHS to secure their support in his treatment and care was also first-class. Thank you to all at Bluebird.

My husband was expertly cared for during his last months with us. He had been looked after by his carers for many years, always with kindness and dedication to his various many needs. He was always happy and contented with all aspects of his personal care. His many carers knew his needs and went about their duties with diligence and unhurried attention, which was a great help with his later stages of dementia, he was a happy gentleman. The carers that carried out home visits for my mom were always very polite and respectful, friendly and cheerful, helpful and diligent. There is a pretty good backup service too, which is very much appreciated when there is a problem. I very rarely hear Mom complain about the ladies at Bluebird and that's no mean achievement, let me tell you.

The experience I had with the staff and carers of Bluebird was of an excellent standard of care and support. Not just to my father but to all of my family. My father had always been a dignified and humble gentleman, and he was treated with absolute respect and consideration by all of the staff who met him. They explained everything to him and were so very patient with him and my siblings. I will never be able to express the gratitude I have for them all in caring for dad in his last few months.
