Generally, we are satisfied with the service provided. The staff are always polite and helpful.
The review seemed very comprehensive. My mother and I are satisfied with the service and the questions we were asked. My mother, as well as with many elderly people, need encouragement to eat and drink. The carers can do this if they have time to watch her eating - carers are very cheerful and caring on the whole and sometimes need to encourage her a bit more.
Due to the increase in my father's needs, Bluebird Care (York) were the third care company we have used in York, and definitely the best. They did everything in their power to put together the non-standard package that he needed, and it was clear even from the initial assessment visit that they are caring, professional and trustworthy. The staff at Bluebird are brilliant, they always arrive on time. The staff make sure I am ok and get me everything I need. They make showering a pleasure when usually it is something I dread. The office staff always ring and tell me if my carers are running late or if my call times have changed. Every single person at Bluebird I have come across, have been very very pleasant and I have no issues with recommending them to anyone else.
I started having Bluebird Care (York) in April 2016 and I am happy with them. The carer's are very nice and I have regular carer's that know my routine.
We have a carer come once a week to give my wife a bath. The carer is very good and does try to persuade her to have a bath as she can be very stubborn sometimes. I am very pleased with our carer.
Very satisfied with my care, all the staff have been very kind. I have always been treated with dignity. One request would be, could the client be advised from the office, if it gets later than the given call time.
The domestic services have been satisfactory at all times. The staff have been extremely helpful in doing all the jobs I require.
