POSTED NOVEMBER 27, 2009: I am unsure how to delete my previous post below, so want to follow up with mentioning that Ruben Espinoza, the Sales Manager for Alexander BMW, could not have been more helpful in resolving my initial issues. Ruben honored the basic terms I had agreed on w/ Danny last December and I just took delivery yesterday of a 2010 X5 - ordered exactly how I wanted and no unpleasant surprises. The order, delivery and orientation process with Ruben and his staff was very good - a special thanks to Serene Ford ... read more

I went in to trade in my 2005 330Ci convertible for a new 3 series sedan, i had just purchased 330 in 08/05 for 50,000 (not includ tax and lic). ED offered me 28K for good to excellent condition car. I asked him how is it possible to offer me a price 22K lower than what i had paid just 18 months prior? He told me I didn't do my 'homework', i should have known there was a new model coming out in '07. 'It is customary to offer blue book back 6 thousand' 'why should i buy your car for more when i can go to wholesale and get it ... read more

Service advisor (Fred) was knowledgeable and professional. I was there twice: 1) Install alarm & front license plate holder. SA was nice and gave me a loan car because he believe the work can't be finished by the day. Very happy with the experience. HOWEVER, got home and found the front bumper dented when the technican install the license plate holder. Also chipped the left side mirror housing. Extremely unhappy with the work as the technician should have just be honest and fix it instead of me have to find out myself. Anywa... read more

After doing my research for many weeks prior to my visit I KNEW I wanted either a new BMW 325i or pre-owned 330i. Carsdirect.com arranged for me to test drive one of these vehicles at Nick Alexander's. I scheduled my test drive for a friday after work. When I arrived the internet liason had no idea about my arrival. ... (I believe that a portion of the profit goes to carsdirect.com if I they refer me. so of course the sales reps would rather attend non-referals. but anyway) after being bounced around for a while the manager ... read more

In general, they charge more than the other BMW dealerships in the area. My radiator cracked and they quoted me close to twice the cost of another dealer. They were high on both parts and labor. I went in for another problem and was told they would charge $200 just to diagnose the problem (the other dealerships quoted me $100) and the repair (identified by the other dealership) would cost $1,200 (the other dealership quoted me $500). Unless your car is covered under warranty, avoid getting your car serviced here.

In my experience, Nick Alexander service goes out of their way to ensure customer satisfaction. They are always very polite/friendly and have strived to solve any issues I've had. When I once had to go to the Customer Service Manager for a more urgent issue, they EXCEEDED my expectations and fixed my problem. They are located in a bad part of town which is one reason why I think they go out of their way to treat you well. It's worth the drive!
