The service department here is consistently disorganized and thoroughly disappoints me every single time I visit. They are always late. And I mean always. My most recent visit this morning had me wait over a half an hour for my appointment, and by that time although my car was supposed to wait out front so that I could get my belongings, they took it all the way back to the shop with all of my stuff in it. Do not take your car here unless you want a lesson on how terrible customer service can be. My wife took our i3 to get a brake fluid replaced and fix a faulty remote. She gets there and they do not have loaner cars (this is a common occurrence). Strike one! Five days later they "fix" our car and we get it back. They mess up scheduling the Uber (sending it to the dealer instead of my wife's location). They eventually fix that (wasting another 30 min of our time) and the car isn't ready. Hi I was in service center this morning for the glove box cover which is came off for no reason Chris looked at it and said I'm out off cosmetic warranty so disappointed when see BMW not taking responsibility for defected item on their cars that's unbelievable as a BMW owner this is not acceptable from BMW More bad is I have to pay 175 labor and 340 plus tax for repair defected item BMW have in car I found lot's of complain about that here is a link from years and years https://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/showthread.php… And C... read more

I purchased my used 2015 BMW from carmax which stated I had a warranty until 50K miles (purchased at 35K). I am pretty dumb when it comes to warranties, etc. so when someone says 50K and doesn't disclose a "50K OR until ___ date" I assume 50K. (Carmax + my issue, I know.) But... Went to get my car serviced approx 2 mos ago and Caroline + crew were super sweet and everything seemed to flow easily and well. ‪@bmw_sandiego My name is Hope and I wanted to share my most recent experience w SD BMW. I came in for service a couple weeks ago and the service was great. However, I got a loaner car like I always have in the past. I didn’t notice small marks when I picked up the loaner car. I took it over the weekend and only parked it once in my driveway and on the street. When I returned it, they found three spots that I could only see in the sunlight. I have never owned a car like my BMW !! Now after all these years of putting more and more money into a car I realize what BMW stands for BIG MONEY WASTED !! it's not BMW of san Diego's fault but I didn't know where to vent about this car I have sank more money into my 328I than any other car I have ever owned Even the paint has faded away like no other car I should have listened more closely to friends/people that have owned 1 and had nothing but troubles . @bmw_sandiego @BMW Worst car service ever! I love my service writer, but most others staff are rude and unprofessional. Look at how my car was returned to me. Left window down during a wash and damaged my rim.
